If you are NOT insuring all of your Home Contents you must nominate the value of each category of your Home Contents being moved in your application for this Insurance. If you choose not to insure all of your Home Contents and/or you have undervalued your Home Contents you may be underinsured and this can effect the way that NTI calculate the payment amount in the event of a claim. Please refer to the Product Disclosure Statement / Policy Document as you may be penalised when making a claim.

If you are nominating a vehicle to be relocated, do not include the value of the vehicle when nominating the value of your Household Contents at the question above, you nominate the value of the vehicle separately here.

If you would like to insure a motor vehicle, motor cycle or boat, you will be required to provide a Vehicle Pre-shipment Report. The Vehicle Pre-shipment Report must:

be completed by your removalist PRIOR to your move occurring; and
provided to CARTS by email no later than 5pm on the next business day after you move has occured.
if the Vehicle Pre-shipment Report is not received within the above timeframe cover reverts to Cover Option 2 - Listed Events, but cover is still provided.

Some removalists will have their own Vehicle Pre-shipment Report which are acceptable to CARTS. For your convenience we also have the following Vehicle Pre-shipment Reports available for use by your removalist:

Vehicles will not be insured whilst in storage.

In event of claim it is important to note that any vehicle will be covered for market value only.
